In a surprise move moments before the trade deadline Bob Bourne Director of Hockey Operations for the National Hockey League Alumni secured the rights to Taylor Van Tighem from the Jasper/Hinton All-Stars. Bourne justified the unexpected last minute maneuver, “Fleury needs someone to skate with, with Tiger’s recent double hip replacement and the addition of Joe Hill on the All-Star roster we had to secure some youth, speed and agility”
And finally the management and scouting staff of Hockey Night in Jasper have announced the final net minding roster for the NHL Alumni Hockey Challenge match-up tomorrow night at the Jasper Arena.

Between the pipes for the Jasper/Hinton All-Stars will be:
Daniel Rodriquez from the Banff Hockey League
Shawn Rutledge, JCHL defending champions (Barley Kings)
Bennett Young, Jasper Minor Hockey system product.

For the NHL Alumni team:
Scott Sherlow, Jasper Old-Timers Hockey League
Wendy Hall, Freewheel Cycle and Jasper Women’s first team all-star
Ryan Verge, Jasper Wolves alumni
