Salmon Idaho

IMG_1407[1]the ride from MacKay  to Salmon was a long one and the rain and wind only added to the time to complete it, all told I was on the bike for 12 hours yesterday. I was rewarded along the way by some beautiful scenery and some very deverse landscapes, I even got to watch a cow round up in progress, branding and all. Saw a variety of birds and animals, including Elk, deer and to red tailed hawks.  Route 93 mostly follows the Salmon River so not alot of elevation gain. A great day!

  1. 5/10/13: Hi Van; I picked up a copy of the Lincoln County Record in Caliente, NV and read with appreciation of your courage and your ride. As we followed your course on 93 in our motorhome, we hoped we might catch up to you. I see now why we did not. We have just come from a Healthy You Conference, regarding the wonders of a plant based diet and the cures that have come to people with M.S. The research and the evidence of the miracles cover nearly 40-years . I would be really happy to give you information so you might connect with the experts. Colin T. Campbell,PhD, The China Study, John McDougal MD,numerous publications and website, Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., MD Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease.
We applaude your journey and commitment to MS.
